International design created in Spain at SFF2012

With exhibitions, talks, press meetings and several producers and designers, Spanish design will be very visible in the Stockholm Furniture&Light Fair.

15 Spanish design brands, among them 10 exhibitors, will be in the Swedish capital during the Stockholm Design Week supported by RED and ICEX. RED is a non-profit association representing the interests of Spanish companies of the habitat sector that identify design as a factor of competitiveness. The task of the association is to encourage the recognition and international presence of its members, and to promote de design culture at the same time.

Continuing Spain's design resurgence, thousands will gather at the SFF2012 to discover new designs in furniture, as ANDREU WORLD, ENEA, SANCAL and LOLA GLAMOUR, lighting, as ARTURO ALVAREZ, SANTA&COLE and LZF-LAMPS, textile, as NATURTEX, and decorative accessories, as ENERGIA NATURAL or NOMON. Exhibitions will be accompanied by live events:

On February 6th, BCD-Barcelona Centro de Diseño, will organize a Round Table at Instituto Cervantes, Bryggargatan 12A, 111 21 Stockholm: "Scandinavian design versus Mediterranean design". A debate between designers from two European cities leaders in design, such as Stockholm and Barcelona, bringing together professionals, companies and institutions involved in design, with the objective of promoting exchange of knowledge and explore potential collaborations between the different agents. This Round Table is organized by BCD and Svensk Form, and supported by Barcelona City Hall and Instituto Cervantes.

On February 7th, at 15'30h, RED in collaboration with the Stockholm Furniture&Light Fair will organize an Afternoon Tea meeting with key press professionals to present the latest news of the most avant-garde design created in Spain. The event point will be at ANDREU WORLD booth, Hall A #09:44. Join us to discover the vision and creative approach of 11 Spanish companies: ANDREU WORLD, ARTURO ALVAREZ, BCD, ENERGIA NATURAL, IMASOTO, LZF-LAMPS, NANI MARQUINA, NATURTEX, QUATTRIA, SANTA&COLE and TEMAS V-ORUGA.
